Holy shit the vibees!

Im diggin this one dude, a lot, good shit.

Libby-Shimmz responds:

Thanks Qwaint!

The style is mind boggling, diggin the way you work with hi hats, it really shows your effort and passion.

Thats what im feelin the most, your passion.

Im using my monitor headphones but it sounds perfect really, I see no flaws whatsoever.

Please dont take it "that" way, lmao.

Libby-Shimmz responds:

Don't take it what way? Sorry dude, I'm lost as to the meaning behind your use of the word 'that.'

Your sound qualitys on point maaan, great range of (unheard) sounds.

Dope samples as well, wanna put this up on the HDC page?

Libby-Shimmz responds:

I kind of don't. It's too good, ya know?

Straight filth!

I really enjoyed this mix dude, kicks melt in beautifully with the mid funk bass, yes to those hi hats, and you know me with snares man.

Dont even get me started on scratching..

(mind if i use in the future?)

Promethicus responds:

go for it my dude :)

thanks for the review!

The cinematic feel consumes you instantly, I thought you found a good balance between sounds. This would be especially important considering the strings and reverb.

The mood you set is very suitable for a zombie type track.

You kept me engaged with multiple layers and progressive melodies. Thats kinda hard for most folks, so nicely done.

I could imagine this used as background music in some kind of japanese RPG when the main dudes girlfriend dies or something. Maybe their dog or just when the main dude fails and as a result a bunch of townspeople die.

Enzer0 responds:

Thanks for the responce!

Epic review.
Im glad you enjoyed it - Its good to know where im going right. I'd love to put more oomf into these tracks but i just enjoy having that subtle, almost ghostly feel to it.

Thanks again for you time and review.

I dont usually listen to EDM but I can tell you worked your ass off on this one.

Yes, squeaky clean highs, penetrating mids and perfect amount of lows in my opinion, they say too much of anything is bad, definitely the case for bass.

I liked the multiple differences you carefully crafted in every passing second.

Mastered quite well, rounded sounds are waaay better than sharp earpiercing sounds. You know what I mean, most people who try to take up EDM are too interested in fast pace and mostly lows or mostly mids.

This is a phenomenal example of "acceptable" EDM. That should mean a lot coming from the fact that I am a music lover not very fond of the genre, as most of what ive heard (from different artists not you) was trash.

Well done dude. (applause in text form)

Voltus responds:

Thanks again! Glad you like it that much!

I enjoyed how clean everything sounds. Everything had its place and all sounds were well balanced.

There were multiple layers I could hear which is great, it really sounds complete. Like it can stand on its own, progression and different variations also supported this.

I liked the overall vibe of the track.

It wasnt a traditional house track (punchy kicks right to the face) which would give off active vibes, this one came at a different approach, a more laidback type of feeling. Creativity/Originality (fusions) is always a major plus in my book.

Nice work dude, making music is easy anybody can do that.

Making "good" music is what matters.

Voltus responds:

Thanks for the praise! Really appreciate the kind words. Worked a lot on this one!

This ones trippy, I like.

I think your fast flow is making it hard for you to enunciate certain sounds, its difficult to actually decipher what you said. Even so, for when listening to it like the typical person, it sounds dope.

Other than that, all your tracks have been nicely mastered. Ive definitely heard some shit and this isnt on the shit list.

RezzyTip responds:

Its a combination of rapping fast and the aggression in my voice that muffles it I believe. Thats why I put the lyrics to all of the songs on the digidownload. Sometimes when I rap fast, ill find myself over-enuciating and it sounds super goofy lol. But that is something im working on, being more clear without sacrificing the grunginess of the sound. I appreciate the remarks on mastering, it was really my first attempt to mix everything myself. On headphones I can hear some faults but hey, I tried haha. Practice makes perfect.

Dope features and always comin with that crazy flow.

A real hype track. My only issue is that the beat sounds hollow. Wheres the bass?

RezzyTip responds:

Its a very low end bass, & doesnt kick until about :36 seconds-ish into it, but its there I promise! Haha. Appreciate the 'always comin with that crazy flow' thats one thing I always always always try to make on point. Glad you recognized the HYPE!!!

In the beginning, I agree that it is lacking a little something. It sounds unfinished, not cohesive enough. I think your subbass is a bit too low in frequency as I can barely hear nor feel it.

I liked how you played with the effects. Like that filtered kick you added reverb to.

I did like how it sounded from 1:40. It has a fuller feel, a feeling of completion.

Overall I thought it was pretty decent. Loved that gritty snare.

Im a sucker for snares.

S-Rock responds:

I have speakers that can play those notes. Loudly because of the lower end bass notes. Listen to it in a car and it'll make sense lol Thanks for the listen bro
